Dr. Steven Diamant has been in chiropractic practice for over thirty years. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and over the years has taken numerous post-graduate courses that have prepared him for the care of thousands of patients in his private practice. The continuing education seminars Dr. Diamant attends include clinical neurology, spinal bio-mechanics, adjustment techniques, nutrition, and X-ray & MRI imaging - all of which keep him abreast of the most recent advances and help him to better serve his patients.
Dr. Diamant's first personal experience with chiropractic care occurred while attending Brooklyn College, where he suffered from frequent headaches. One of his headaches continued for twenty-one days, until his first chiropractic adjustment. From that point on he knew he wanted to be a doctor of chiropractic.
Dr. Diamant uses a multi-faceted approach to health and well-being. He thoroughly enjoys seeing the tremendous results achieved through spinal adjustments, coupled with the body's resilient recuperative powers. Dr. Diamant believes that regular chiropractic visits can be used to treat everything from back, neck and shoulder pain to chronic colds, headaches or sinusitis. As a former two-time NYC Marathon runner with expertise in weight training and fitness, he also knows firsthand the benefits of regular adjustments for athletes.
During the course of Dr. Diamant's career, he has given time to help the developmentally disabled as well as physically challenged residents in local group homes. Dr. Diamant has seen these populations experience the obvious health benefits of chiropractic care in addition to an improvement in routine activities. He is also a long-time supporter of the Make A Wish Foundation and frequently donates his time and services to benefit the foundation.
