Dr. Matt Fontaine has over 24 years of experience as a sports chiropractor. As a lifelong athlete, a career in sports medicine was his natural path, taking him to the pinnacles of professional sports. He served as a sports chiropractor in Major League Baseball and with the ART Ironman Triathlon Medical team. He completed his residency at the prestigious Texas Back Institute. With this extensive training and clinical experience, he is an expert at connecting the dots for his patients to accurately diagnose their conditions, putting a plan in place, and collaborating with the right healthcare team of providers to get the best patient outcomes. He has spent the last decade-plus serving a patient community that includes the men and women of our Nation’s Armed Forces, Veterans, and other governmental agencies in northern Virginia.
His practice focuses on sports medicine, human performance, and rehabilitation for neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Dr.
Fontaine uses an integrative approach across multiple modalities rendering treatments in manipulative therapies, functional rehab and performance-based exercise. His expertise includes an extensive collaborative network with both surgical and regenerative specialists for patients tat require a more integrated approach. He’s committed to
excellence and values a patient-centric focus, consistently giving them
the highest quality care possible. `
