Dr. Jeffrey A. Zwierstra is a Doctor of Chiropractic and has the training and experience to evaluate your total health picture. He graduated from the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic, where he earned the opportunity to practice abroad in Mexico City’s only Chiropractic College and work in the local hospital incorporating chiropractic care with the medical care that the patients were receiving. He specializes in the use and application of light,non-invasive chiropractic techniques along with acupuncture, function based rehabilitative exercises, and therapies.

“My first experience with acupuncture occurred while doing an internship in Mexico City. I had dropped 25 pounds in a little over a month which is very concerning ( I am 6′ 3” and 190 lbs normally). Adjustments can work miracles but in this case I needed something else and that something else turned out to be Acupuncture which is very big in certain areas of Mexico. I am very uncomfortable with western medicine needles and get nervous whenever I donate blood so I was very nervous but it turned out that acupuncture needles are something entirely different. Small, precise, and remarkably pain-free the whole process took less than 30 minutes. The focus was on balancing out the body, and long story short it worked very well. I stopped losing the weight and then gradually and healthfully put it back on. When I returned from Mexico I immersed myself in studying acupuncture and how to combine it with chiropractic to promote a balanced approach to healthcare”
