Dr. Krause is an Iowa native, growing up in Sioux City. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, he was a licensed Funeral Director in Cresco, Dyersville, and Sioux City, Iowa.

Dr. Krause began his pre-chiropractic education at MorningsideCollege in Sioux City, Iowa where he received his BS degree in Business and Computer Science. He then attended mortuary school at Kansas City Kansas Community College receiving the Robert O' Todd award for academic excellence. After six years as a Funeral Director, he wanted a change to spend more time with his family and moved to Davenport, Iowa where he attended and graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He received the John Connolly Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Graduate.

Dr. Krause founded Chiropractic First Wellness Center in 2004. He is a member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Krause enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife Kim and their three young boys, Collin, Dawson and Caiden.
